Just In Case You Forgot How Far RIM Has Fallen
“We have a clear shot at being the number three platform on the market. We’re not just another open platform on the market, we are BlackBerry.” — RIM CEO Thorsten Heins, via The Verge.
Heins is right that there isn’t fierce competition for that number-three spot — Microsoft is still treading water. But has any company ever reversed a popularity slide like this? And, anyway, how will RIM? After reading about today’s new stuff, I can’t think of a reason someone would buy a new BlackBerry unless it was their absolute only option.
(At least the video is funny.)
