Google’s Android design guidelines

Solid (if obvious) advice for Android app developers, like “Make important things fast”, and a pretty broad resource.

It’s good to see Google doing anything to make the Android Market a better platform for app makers and a better, more consistent experience for users. But the easy first question is: Will the majority of Android app developers actually pay attention to a guide like this?

Also, interesting nuance from Dustin Curtis:

The Android Design site is just a list of interface components, whereas the iOS HIG is an implementation guide. Huge difference.
