Apple and Starbucks give out free paid iPhone apps
Interesting promotion, via CNET’s Josh Lowensohn.
I’m curious if developers get paid the full amount for these apps, or if Apple strikes a deal with them at a reduced price? (Or for no money, like Amazon’s Android app promotion?) Shazam, the app featured in CNET’s story, won’t say, and Apple hasn’t yet replied to my email.
