Instagram makes the cut for American Airlines photo contest, Flickr doesn’t
Okay, yes, it’s just one example. But the fact that American Airlines is using Instagram as an entry point for its mobile photo contest — along with Twitter, Facebook, and email, but not Flickr — gives you an idea of what the photo-sharing pecking order is like these days. Instagram is rising and Flickr is getting passed by.
